Many people in the world are living with mental illness daily. They are NOT shameful or sinful or crazy. It is a chemical in their brain that is not in balance. They sometimes do not talk about it. Some people do seek help and get treatment. See a doctor and therapist. DO NOT GIVE UP. People need to accept what kind of mental health problems that they have and let it go from bad thoughts. It is unhealthy to keep the feelings inside.

It is not your fault to have mental health problems.
OK here I am to share with you my experience with mental health problems.
When I was teenager, I had depression because of bullying in middle school and my body image due to Cerebral Palsy. I was depressed because of how cerebral palsy looked. I felt lonely in high school but I made it through. I did seek help.
When I was 21, I was in a major depression and and needed a lot of help. I didn't know what to do in my adult life with my physical disabilities. I got treatment. It was a very traumatic experience. Then I was discharged. From the age of 22 to 27 years old I moved to Raleigh, NC to learn how to be independent. I got a lot of support from good people. Also from my family too.
Something happen to me from a fall in other place and I had a nervous breakdown. I had a many things happen to me. I got treatment. I felt like I was not walking right. My right hand started to close. I was in a dark side. Finally the doctor found out that I had a spinal cord injury. My mom fought all the doctors to request to get me out from that place to get surgery before it got worse. A Neurosurgeon saved my life.
My spinal cord injury taught me to accept what I had, understand what I was feeling without being able to walk, learn more knowledge about spinal cord injuries AND MORE!
I fought for my mental health and WON!!!
